| A unique advanced HVAC tool training course for licensed HVAC Technicians/Contractors
Now, more than ever, proper installation, set-up and commissioning of HVAC systems is required to ensure the installed equipment performance matches that designed by the manufacturer and purchased by the customer. The performance must be measured using proper techniques with accurate and repeatable measuring instruments. Therefore, the HVAC Technician/Contractor must have proper training and specific instruments to do the job right the first time. This quality installation process serves to save equipment downtime, reduce comfort complaints, and service call backs all the while saving energy and energy costs during operation.
The AHIT (Advanced HVAC Instrumentation Training) package tuition cost includes the latest state-of-the-art tools and in-depth one-on-one training for each. The class consists of part class room training and part on the job training. The class room training is geared toward instrument use and applications to achieve the best quality of work in the field. The student works one-on-one with the instructor via evening Webinars within a defined timeframe. (For Webinar access the student is required to have a computer with speakers, microphone and internet access.)
Our instructors are industry experts and seasoned educators and serve as student mentor throughout the duration of the course. All tools required for the training will be shipped to the student once registration is confirmed and tuition has been received. Once the tools are received, the student contacts the instructor and they align their schedules for the virtual training. A customized number of hours of virtual training accompanied by 16 hours of on-the-job training over the course of a maximum timeframe of 10 weeks is required to pass the course. Phone support during business hours is available for the on-the-job-training portion. Neither the student nor the instructor will travel from their home base during this program.
