The FlowFinder-mk2+ represents a cutting-edge powered flow hood that excels in diverse scenarios. When confronted with low duct pressure, it exhibits exceptional precision in zeroing the pressure across the measurement plane, ensuring minimal disruption to system characteristics. While many powered flow hoods perform adequately in return/exhaust flows, the FlowFinder-mk2+ stands out by achieving remarkable zeroing down to 1/100 Pa, surpassing the typical range of zero to approximately 2/10 Pa observed in most counterparts. Consequently, the FlowFinder-mk2+ proves particularly advantageous in situations involving low pressures or alternative air pathways.
With the ability to measure a range of 6 to 500 CFM with no compensation (firmware v3.14 or higher), the FlowFinder-mk2+ combines exceptional functionality with its compact and lightweight design, making it suitable for measuring kitchen exhaust and HRV flows in confined spaces. However, its true "Killer" application emerges when deployed in conjunction with a Blower Door during sales calls, allowing for the visual and quantitative assessment of duct leakage to the outdoors. By pressurizing the house to 25 Pa using the Blower Door, any smoke movement detected at the registers can be precisely measured by the FlowFinder-mk2+, empowering operators to identify the most cost-effective improvements that can be undertaken for a home.

The FlowFinder-mk2 PLUS offers you the following improvements over the standard mk2
- The full volume flow range from 10 to 850 m3/h is now supported with zero pressure compensation
- Increased measurement speed from 2 to 50 measurements per second
- The duration of a validation measurement can be reduced from 14 to 10 seconds
- The adjustment mode (now called "continuous") is faster, more stable, and now also provides information about measurement stability
- Lower power consumption at high flow rates, the motor only needs to support for a few seconds allowing longer operation per battery charge and sufficient power for higher flow rates
- Now equipped with WiFi, allowing users to update the firmware themselves via PC
- Startup time is now significantly faster
