How to start a return:

Returning merchandise with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is a straightforward process designed to streamline and facilitate efficient returns.

From your account page, find the order number that contains the item you would like to return. Select the item(s) you would like to return and then complete the fields as to the reason for the return. Submit for approval (please allow up to two business days for RMA approval and or further instructions). You may also call our customer service team to assist you in setting up the return.

To initiate a return by phone, please call our customer service team at 1-888-224-3437, Ext. 5 to request an RMA number. This unique identifier helps us track and process returns with precision. Once the RMA number is obtained, customers should carefully package the merchandise, ensuring it is in its original condition with all accessories and documentation included. Clearly affix the RMA number to the outside of the package and ship it to the provided return address. This systematic approach ensures that returns are processed promptly upon receipt, expediting refunds or replacements. By following these steps, we aim to make the return process as seamless as possible, prioritizing customer satisfaction and maintaining transparency throughout the transaction.

 

TruTech Tools Return Policy

  • Returns with valid proof of purchase will receive a refund based on the initial form of payment, such as the credit card used for the purchase. "Valid Proof(s) of Purchase" include the order number, order confirmation email, original sales receipt, pack slip.
  • If the item(s) you ordered does not meet your expectations or you have ordered the wrong product or no longer want a product you ordered, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost. Returns created because we mistakenly shipped you the wrong item or because the item is damaged or defective, qualify for free return shipping up to 30 days after you receive the item.
  • To be eligible for a refund, products must be in a clean and resalable condition. Items being returned must include all original packaging and be complete including batteries, accessories, manuals, carrying cases, straps, etc.
  • Certain items specified below may not be returned once they have been opened.
    • Sensors, CO detectors, CO alarms, calibration gas, digital downloads, manuals, books, guides, etc.
  • For items excluded from being returned, the manufacturer's contact information may be provided upon request. Please reach out to the manufacturer for assistance with the item.
  • Items requiring repairs should be returned to the manufacturer. Most manufacturers have an online RMA form to complete before you send back your item.
