The Checkmate method is the industry’s only valid field test for measuring Acid and Moisture levels in both the compressor oil and in any refrigerant gas. Since its introduction in 1995, Checkmate is now used by refrigerant packagers, reclaiming companies and thousands of service contractors all over the world. The detector tubes have been tested for accuracy by ETL, Intertek Testing Services, an ARI approved laboratory. The oil test tubes will also check for both acid and moisture in a live system.
