Q: I am running a vacuum manifold and need to read pressure down to the millitorr range. Will the NAVAC NMV1 Micron Vacuum Gauge suffice? If so, could it be adapted to a 1/4" stainless steel Swagelok fitting?
According to NAVAC, there are no mTorr units on our gauge but the range is 0-75 mmHg with a resolution of 10 mmHg. The port is 1/4M flared so any adapter would have to fit over that. You cannot remove the fitting cause it is connected to the vacuum sensor.
Q: Is the screen reversible? Like the ability to flip the display upside down.
The screen on the NMV1 is not reversible in the settings of the micron gauge, and physically attempting to flip the screen by taking the NMV1 apart will void the warranty and will damage the micron gauge.
The instrument measures the reading in microns?
Yes, the NMV1's measurement units are Pa, mBar, mmHg and Micron.
