  • Fundamentals Series Fundamentals Series
    These introductory courses are a great way to determine if you are interested in a career in HVACR, and if online learning is right for you. Courses include HVACR Fundamentals, Basic Sheet Metal, HVACR Safety, and Indoor Air Quality.
  • Electrical Series Electrical Series
    Electricity is on of the most important concepts to understand as an HVACR Technician. Likely 90% of the problems that you will encounter will have an electrical related component. These 4 courses cover HVACR DC Electrical Theory, A/C Theory, Electrical Components, and Electrical Motors. These courses are also a great refresher for NATE certification
  • System Series System Series
    Air and airflow is one of the least understood and most over looked causes of problems for HVACR Technicians. Not only is it important to understand airflow, but it is also critical to understand the systems that distribute it to the rooms, how they are designed and how to size them. These 3 courses , Air Properties and Measurement, System Load Calculations, and Air Distribution are a great step in the right direction to understanding airflow.
  • Heating Series Heating Series
    There are 4 common types of heating systems that every HVAC technician must know have a successful career in HVAC. These Systems are Oil Heating, Gas Heating, Heat Pumps, and Geothermal Heat Systems. These 4 courses will give you the fundamental knowledge to service these types of systems and give you the confidence you desire as a service technician.
  • Refrigeration Series Refrigeration Series
    Every HVACR Technician needs to have a basic understanding of true refrigeration. We're not talking just the refrigeration cycle here applied to air conditioning, but true refrigeration for food, pharmaceutical and process. The refrigeration series covers the specialty concepts and controls that you will need to know. These 3 courses are Refrigeration 1, Refrigeration II, and 410a Refrigerant Technology,
  • Controls Series Controls Series
    Building Automation Systems (BAS) are very common in commercial and industrial HVAC/R system service. It is critical that technicians have a basic understanding of these systems, how they operate and how they interface with the building and it systems. These 6 courses will give you an in depth look at building automation systems, DDC networking, GUI points, and basic DDC.
  • Boiler Series Boiler Series
    The best way to keep out of hot water is to understand how not to get into it. The Boiler Series will teach you just that. These 2 courses will teach you the fundamental of boilers and help you prepare for the low pressure boiler operator license.
  • Economizer Certificate Course Economizer Certificate Course
    HVAC Economizer systems are an often misunderstood, yet essential component of successful energy efficiency and air comfort / quality strategies in commercial building applications. The goal of this course is to provide the working field technician and HVAC student with an understanding of the importance of correctly installed and operating economizers, what they are, how they work and how the service technician can maintain, troubleshoot and ensure the correct operation of these systems. This certificate course is applicable to Title 24 in the State of California, and adheres to the ACCA/ASHRAE Standard 180 Quality Maintenance protocols.

    Hydronic Heating or heating with water is a popular way to build comfortable homes. This online course begins a series of courses that address hot water heating systems. Instruction aligns with ANSI/ACCA Quality Installation & Maintenance Standards. This course is NATE recognized for 18 hours of continuing education (CEHs) applicable to NATE re-certification, and BPI recognized for 9 continuing education units (CEUs).

  • Home Performance Series (Green Buildings) Home Performance Series (Green Buildings)
    This are some of the first courses of their kind. They were developed and written in partnership with nationally recognized building science experts and is full of scientific facts, interactive exercises, pictures, videos, graphics, and text. Everything an individual in the building, remodeling, or trade industry needs to know to make buildings perform more efficiently. The PBS course has also been designed to help prepare individuals on the path to various NATE, NARI, BPI, RESNET, and other industry credentials related to green building performance. Instruction aligns with ANSI/ACCA Quality Installation & Maintenance Standards.
