Q: Does this endoscope include two separate camera's, one fixed at 0 degrees and an articulating camera up to 90 degrees? Or is it a singular camera that is able to articulate up to 90 degrees?
If the camera is damaged on this piece of equipment how easily accessible are replacement camera's? Are there additional camera sizes we can purchase for this device? If so where can I find these?
Does this device include a warranty?
A: The VE400 has two cameras placed on the articulating 3ft probe it comes with. One at zero degrees, one at 90 degrees. Both have LED Lights.
If the camera itself is damaged, there is no repairing it. You would simply replace the probe; with option of a 10ft or 3ft length. The camera size itself does not change.
The VE400 comes with a 1 year warranty.
Q: Could you send me a video of this boroscope in action looking inside of a welded piece of pipe or tubing showing up close detail of the root pass of a welded joint.
A: Sorry, that is not something we are currently able to do.
Q: can the camera end of this unit rotate so that the inside of a welded pipe can be viewed at different points or angles?
A: The camera end does not rotate.
However it has 2 cameras in the head and they are 90 degrees form each other.
We have other Wohler scopes that do have a rotating head feature.

Q: What is the maximum frame per second for video recording?
A: Sorry this is not specified by the manufacturer.
You may wish to contact them directly.

Q: I see the probe has a diameter of .220. I need a more precise measurement. The opening I go into is .218 minimum. So I don't know if it is slightly smaller than the .22.
A: The probe will not fit in a 0.218 diameter opening.
Q: What is the temperature range this can be in. I need it for an application that goes up to 350F.
A: The operating temperature for the Wohler VE400 is 0°-45°C or 32°-113°F. It is not recommended for use above or below that temperature range.
Q: does it come with disposable covers
A: It does not come with disposable convers, nor are they available for the unit.
Q: Is the battery user replaceable? Is it a standard Li-Ion such as 18650 size so that spare can be carried
A: The battery should only be replaced by Wohler. It is a sealed 3500 mAh Lithium battery.
Q: The camera wand looks very thin and flimsy. Is it strong enough to support its own weight for a couple feet? Similar to how you extend a tape measure. Wanting to use this for heat exchanger inspections on furnaces.
A: The camera probe is strong and can support itself for the length of the included probe.
